Assist individuals and their families with special challenges by providing suitable workshops, enjoyable activities and therapeutic programs for people with unique needs in a peaceful rural farm setting.

The McCannon Family were among the early settlers arriving in the area in the 1870s and have resided here for six generations. Farm Friends was created to provide appropriate programs to serve the needs of other children and adults with disabilities.

Farms Friends nfp is reliant on and thankful for our volunteers, partners, and friends. It is through these relationships that donate their labor, talents, and time that we are able to keep our focus and grow our mission. Please consider joining us.

“McCannon Farm” is a serene and beautiful outdoor venue for your wedding and reception where you can enjoy the outdoors while still being under cover. The family farmstead offers impeccably kept grounds with hundreds of stately hard wood trees, beautiful and colorful plants and flowers, and Serenity Falls (built by Aquascape) which is a spectacular waterfall cascading into a half-acre pond. The entire property provides excellent phot opportunities and is a one-of-a-kind venue with beautiful views.

The grounds can also be made available for anniversary parties, class reunions, work picnics or other gathering. There is plenty of room to run and play with plenty of shade. Also, be on the lookout for other activities directly benefitting Farm Friends nfp.

Farm Friends nfp is happy to offer alpaca encounters.

These gentle and wonderful animals have been the highlight of many gatherings. Children and adults alike delight in the opportunity to be close to and have their pictures taken with the alpacas. Encounters can be made a part of weddings/events at the farmstead and can also be brought to your location.
